E&I Technician

Function

As an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will work in a team of 2 technicians alternating early/late shifts.
• Responsible for preventive and curative maintenance of automated lines and machines.
• Maintain, optimise and modify existing installations.
• Responsible for commissioning new installations.
• Performing interventions, assembly works and repairs.
• Ensure the smooth running of production by resolving breakdowns efficiently.
• Prepare small projects and execute them together with the maintenance manager.
• Preparation of process descriptions.
• Identify and implement improvements.

Profile

To be successful in this role as an E&I Technician, you will have:

• A degree within a technical field with a focus on measurement and control engineering or electricity. Or you are equivalent through experience.
• Good knowledge of electricity and a basic knowledge of PLCs and automation. Knowledge of pneumatics and ATEX environments are a plus.
• Both people with initial work experience within maintenance and school leavers with great enthusiasm are welcome.
• Strong in problem solving and analysis.
• Strong safety and quality awareness.
• A very good knowledge of Dutch.
• Team spirit and willingness to collaborate with production.
• Willing to actively participate in internal intervention team after training period.

Organisation

Our client operates in the chemical industry, producing chemical solutions used for maintenance and overhaul in industry. They have about 100 employees for their production site in the Dendermonde region and are also the head office for the EMEIA region. Meanwhile, they have been active for more than 60 years and have more than 7 production sites worldwide. They are currently looking for an E&I Technician to strengthen the technical department.
