Planner metal
Function
As Planner / Production Planner, you are the lynchpin between customer demand and production. You ensure that orders are produced on time, efficiently and according to the correct specifications. You coordinate materials, machines and personnel optimally and monitor the progress of the entire production process.
Besides planning and preparing production orders, you also collaborate on technical modifications to existing products. To this end, you create and manage technical drawings in Autodesk Inventor, so that product changes are correctly translated into production.
Production Planning & Capacity Management
- Establish and manage short- and medium-term production planning.
- Align production capacity based on orders, forecasts and available resources.
- Monitor the progress of production orders and make adjustments where necessary.
- Identify bottlenecks and ensure appropriate solutions.
Work Preparation & Technical Support
- Check incoming orders for technical feasibility and completeness.
- Create and manage production orders, bills of materials (BOMs) and work instructions in the ERP system.
- Determine and record required machining times and material requirements.
- Perform drawing work in Autodesk Inventor for customer-oriented modifications and optimisations of standard products.
- Implementing and documenting technical changes for production purposes.
Material & Inventory Management
- Timely reservation or ordering of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocks.
- Working closely with warehouse and procurement to ensure material availability.
Communication & coordination
- Daily consultation with production management on priorities and progress.
- Coordinating with sales on delivery times, changes and customer requirements.
- Coordinate actions in case of delays, rush orders or capacity issues.
Profile
- You have a technical bachelor's or master's degree.
- You preferably have experience in production planning, work preparation or supply chain processes within a manufacturing environment.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- You have experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software.
- Your command of the Dutch language is excellent, both orally and in writing.
Organisation
This organisation specialises in customised steel and aluminium structures for infrastructure and industrial applications. From its own production environment, both single-piece and series constructions are manufactured, combining engineering, metalworking, machining, welding and assembly. The company realises projects for, among others, road infrastructure, technical installations and specific customer solutions, where quality, craftsmanship and flexibility are key. In addition, existing standard products are regularly adapted to customer-specific requirements, for which technical engineering and 3D design play an important role.
Offer
- Permanent contract, indefinite duration
