Site Manager
Function
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and organising various construction sites. With your own team of about 10 employees and close cooperation with subcontractors, you will contribute to the success of fire protection projects.
Your duties will include:
- Preparation of site planning and organisation of material and personnel.
- Timely delivery of yards with a constant focus on quality.
- Regular monitoring and inspection of ongoing construction sites.
- Analyse and resolve incidents in the yards.
- Assemble an efficient recruitment team to meet agreed deadlines.
- Lead site meetings with internal colleagues, customers and subcontractors.
- Guarantee proactive and clear communication on the sites.
- Conduct safety inspections and organise toolbox meetings.
- The yard-to-admin ratio will be about 70%/30%.
Profile
We are invested in growth and development, but a solid foundation is essential. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:
- Technical education (A2 or bachelor's degree) or equivalent through experience.
- Good knowledge of execution methods, techniques and materials.
- Comfortable in a coordinating and directing role.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical knowledge clearly.
- In possession of a type B driving licence.
- Fluent command of the Dutch language. Knowledge of English and/or French is a plus.
- A strong plus: experience as a site manager or already knowledge within fire protection.
Organisation
Our client is a Belgian company focused on developing and delivering sustainable engineering solutions. The company is based in Beringen and also has a branch in Kruibeke. They have several specialised entities, for their fire protection branch they are currently looking for a site manager who will work in tandem with a project manager. This branch deals with the installation of automatic extinguishing systems using water and/or foam. Offer
