Project coordinator
Function
As a Connection Management Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and follow-up of connection works for drinking water and sewerage within your region.
You will act as a technical point of contact and ensure that projects are carried out efficiently, safely and qualitatively.
- You analyse customer demand in function of the existing infrastructure;
- You advise clients, building promoters and architects on the best technical solutions;
- You will consult with clients and local authorities as necessary;
- You will prepare technical and administrative implementation plans, including safety procedures;
- You will act as a point of contact for customers during the site phase;
- You support administrative colleagues with your technical expertise;
- Follow-up of works;
- You monitor the quality and correct execution of works;
- You will support contractors and solve problems during execution;
- You actively monitor construction sites and repair works, including site visits;
- You will evaluate the progress and performance of the works carried out;
- You will report to the manager and coordinate with colleagues;
- You identify bottlenecks in a timely manner and help think about improvements;
- You contribute to efficient collaboration within the team.
Profile
For the position of Project Coordinator, you have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's or graduate degree ideally in a technical field (e.g. construction engineering,...);
If experience with site coordination or project follow-up in a construction environment is an asset...;
Good knowledge of MS Office, experience with ERP is a plus;
In possession of a valid driving licence B;
Willingness to travel within the Bruges-Ghent region;
The ability to work in an organised manner and think along with the customer are key factors in this position.

We are offering an open-ended contract for this Project Coordinator position.
You will work a full-time hourly schedule of 40h/week.
