HVAC Service Technician

Function

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be the face of the company with customers in Belgium and sporadically in Luxembourg. You are responsible for the optimal functioning of advanced climate technology. Your duties include:

• Preparing and programming installations.
• Providing assembly instructions and technical support to customers.
• Execution and implementation of on-site installations.
• Report and follow up on work performed.
• Maintenance work on air handling units, fire dampers, filters and laboratory ventilation guidelines.

You work independently but can count on a team of enthusiastic colleagues where your technical expertise and problem-solving skills really make a difference.

Profile

To be successful in this role as an HVAC Service Technician, you will bring the following:

• A degree in a technical field (bachelor's degree in electromechanics, air conditioning, energy management or a TSO degree in electromechanics or related).
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in HVAC at either an installer, engineering firm or manufacturer.
• VCA basic certification (can also be obtained internally).
• Fluent communication skills in Dutch. Willing to work out in French as well.
• A customer-oriented attitude combined with a hands-on mentality.
• Flexibility in hours and willingness to spend sporadic nights in Luxembourg.

Organisation

Our client is a leading manufacturer of air conditioning products such as air groups, filters, grilles and other air components for HVAC applications. Production takes place in Germany, Spain, Norway and the UK, while the Belgian branch is responsible for sales within the BELUX market.

From Belgium, they supply both installers and end customers, including renowned installers. Besides supplying products, they also provide after-care through maintenance, service and commissioning. To strengthen the service team, they are currently looking for a service engineer HVAC.

• A full-time contract of indefinite duration (clerical contract PC 200).
