Function

As a Forwarding Agent Africa in Zaventem, you play a crucial role in organising shipments to and from African countries. You will be responsible for coordinating, planning and monitoring logistics operations, working closely with customers, carriers and internal teams to ensure shipments are processed in a timely and efficient manner.

Your daily tasks include:

• Preparing transport documents and following up on customs formalities.
• Communication with customers and partners to clearly identify transport needs and conditions.
• Monitoring deliveries and proactively resolving shipping issues.
• Maintaining records and providing reports.
• Maintain strong knowledge of logistics processes and regulations for shipping to African countries.

Profile

For this Expeditor Africa position, we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with:

• Relevant work experience in air cargo
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French, both written and oral; English is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work accurately under time pressure.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade is a plus.
• A proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
