Freight forwarder

Function

As Freight forwarder You will participate in the entire process of airfreight shipments - import and export. You will join an experienced team that trains you on-the-job. Thanks to the late shift (between 10:30 and 21:00), you are perfectly in sync with customers and partners worldwide.

You will learn all about organising, monitoring and administratively handling air cargo shipments. You are a crucial link in the logistics process of international goods flows.

Your tasks and learning objectives:

• Support the organisation and follow-up of air cargo shipments (import & export)
• Maintain customer contact and handle transport requests
• Contributing to tenders and tender documents
• Administrative processing of files - from documentation to invoicing
• Working with international agents and subcontractors
• Gaining basic knowledge of customs formalities and logistics regulations
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and contributing to quality improvement
• Keeping data up-to-date in internal systems such as spreadsheets and BMS

Profile

• You are a recent graduate in a logistics, economic or administrative field or already have experience as a freight forwarder
• You speak fluent in Dutch and English
• You work accurateYou are eager to learn and customer-oriented
• You feel good in a team-oriented and international working environment
• You are willing to work in late shift (10:30 - 19:00 or 12:30 - 21:00)
