Assistant Project Manager Roads and Sewerage
Function
Your role as Assistant Project Manager
In this position, you will support the project manager in the daily coordination of various road and sewerage projects. You are present on site, help ensure the smooth execution of the work and are a point of contact for employees, suppliers and partners. You combine technical insight with organisational talent and take responsibility where necessary.
Some of your duties include:
- Daily site monitoring in collaboration with the project manager
- Managing and supporting foremen, workers and subcontractors
- Managing the material supply and site inventory
- Performing administrative tasks and following up the site file
- Liaise with building owner, engineering firms and other external partners
- Working according to the standard specification 250
You will grow in your role by working closely with experienced project managers and learn the tricks of the trade in the field.
Profile
What do you bring?
You are eager to learn, enterprising and know how to get to work. You feel at home in a technical environment and want to help build quality infrastructure projects.
Your profile:
- Diploma in construction engineering or equivalent through experience
- Experience within infrastructure or road works is a plus
- Good knowledge of Dutch and basic knowledge of French
- Strong organisational skills, communication skills and team-oriented
- Basic knowledge of MS Office; MS Project is an added advantage
- Familiar or willing to learn to work to standard specification 250
