IoT Engineer

Functie

For this role you will have the the following responsibilities:

• Managing and optimizing IoT devices based on RPI architecture
• In charge of developing and optimizing IoT applications in Node-Red
• Managing automated processes with Ansible and continuously improving these processes
• Integration of production equipment via various industrial protocols (HART, RS-485, KNX, etc.)
• Printing 3D parts specifically for our IoT solutions
• Collecting and processing data via a Kafka data bus, with further processing in Elasticsearch or local applications
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to develop IoT solutions that contribute to efficiency and innovation within the group

Profiel

• You have completed higher education in ICT/IoT or have 3 years of relevant work experience
• You are flexible, true team player, and have a broad interest in IoT and electronics
• You have experience with the open-source community
• Good knowledge of Linux systems
• Good knowledge of Ansible, RPI, Linux, Node-Red, and Elasticsearch
• Experience with setting up and managing monitoring tools such as the ELK stack and Grafana
• You can express yourself fluently in English and knowledge of Dutch constitutes an advantage.
