Work Planner

Function

As a Work Planner, you play a crucial role in preparing, organising and optimising production processes. In this challenge, you are the connecting link between customers, design department and production. Thanks to your technical knowledge and analytical skills, you ensure that projects are not only prepared to technical perfection, but also run efficiently and profitably. You translate customer requests, such as technical files and design drawings, into clear processes and calculations. You work closely with colleagues and ensure that the quality and speed of deliveries meet expectations.

• Analysing technical information from customer queries.
• Determine the most appropriate implementation methods.
• Drafting designs and drawing work in Autocad.
• Preparing and optimising CNC programmes.
• Costing and accurate calculation.
• Communicating and collaborating with various teams.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced Work Planner with a passion for engineering and a strong analytical mindset. It is important that you are organised and precise, and your eagerness to learn will help you fully understand and optimise production processes.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in wood or metalworking.
• Experience or knowledge of Autocad 2D (3D is a plus).
• Basic understanding of CNC programmes.
• Analytical ability and solution-oriented thinking.
• Communicatively strong and a natural team player.
• Fluent in Dutch, both written and oral.
• A positive attitude and drive to achieve results.

Organisation

Our client has been active for over 60 years in the processing of foam rubber for B2B customers with various applications within construction, mattresses, furniture, packaging buffers, acoustic cushioning,... To this end, they combine technical craftsmanship with modern CNC techniques and continue to invest in both people and machines. They currently have about 35 employees and are looking for an experienced work planner to strengthen the team.
