Transport planner

For the job of transport planner, you will be responsible for managing the planning for Southern Europe on a daily basis, in addition you will be responsible for the following:

• You will prepare the groupage and full load planning for Southern Europe using the company's own fleet of vehicles and engage subcontractors when necessary;
• You will be responsible for both import and export planning;
• Planning is done using the company's proprietary system;
• You will instruct the drivers and be their point of contact;
• You interact with various internal departments such as customer service and the warehouse;
• You switch quickly in case of schedule changes and closely monitor transports;
• You will report to the head of dispatch.

Who exactly are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor's level of thought and work and/or initial relevant experience as a planner;
• You express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English, knowledge of Spanish is a plus;
• Collaborative teamwork is totally your thing, but you can also work independently;
• MS-Excel holds no secrets for you and can get along with other computer programmes;
• You are communicative, stress-resistant and can easily maintain an overview.
