Technical team assistant

As a technical shift assistant, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will join a team with a technical team of 1 electrician and 1 mechanic.
• Responsible for the division of work, monitoring and organisation of technical interventions in paper mill production.
• Analysis of technical problems and prioritisation so that technicians can be deployed where needed.
• Follow up the works and adjust where necessary.
• Supervise safety regulations and order and cleanliness of workplaces.
• Securing the facilities during technical interventions.
• Technical reporting of your shift so that the other technical shift assistants are informed.
• You will report to the site manager.

As a technical shift assistant, you will largely meet the following requirements:

• Already a first experience in a technical position in a production environment. Such as process operator, technician,...
• Preferably hold a technical degree (TSO, 7th year or graduate).
• Willing to work in a 5-shift system.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch to communicate smoothly and safely internally.
• Strong affinity with manufacturing and engineering.
• Organisational skills to distribute work as well as be able to prioritise.
• You can work well independently and have a sense of responsibility.

The site in the Dendermonde region specialises in the production of paper and cardboard for packaging purposes. You will be working in a very technical production environment and will be responsible for coordinating technical breakdowns and problems in the shifts.
