Sales engineer metal

• You explore the market and detect projects within sheet metal working, construction work and piping
• You know how to build on existing customer relationships by correctly processing price enquiries and calculations and through technically sound quotation discussions.
• You look for new opportunities in the market by offering the activities outside the existing customer network.
• You will be looking for projects where added value in bulk transport is required, by deploying drying, sieving, mixing or other techniques.
• Together with the engineering team, you will analyse the customer's demand and work out (together) an appropriate solution.
• You are responsible for calculating the solution, elaborating the offers in full and defending them to the customer.

• You are an engineer and have in-depth sales experience in a technical environment. Experience within the metal industry is a plus.
• You have good language skills: Dutch & English, other languages are a plus.
• You combine strong analytical acumen with clear communication, winning the trust of your customers.
• Your persuasiveness and perseverance guarantee you sales success.

This metal division specialises in high-quality metal solutions and offers customised machining in steel and stainless steel, according to international quality standards (EN 1090).

Services include:

• Sheet-metal working: using modern machinery, unique parts are produced in steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Construction work: Platforms, stairs, handrails and piperacks are manufactured with FPC2+ certification and CE marking.
• Piping: Design, construction and maintenance of tailor-made solutions for production and utility piping in sectors such as (petro)chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food.

Thanks to a comprehensive approach, from analysis and pre-engineering to assembly and delivery, various sectors are served, including building materials, chemicals, energy, pharmaceuticals, metal production, recycling and food.
