Sales engineer mechanical engineering

Function

• You will act as the link between our Engineering and Sales departments. This means you deal with quotations, orders and communication between these two teams.
• The technical world is your playing field. You immerse yourself in our products, keep your knowledge up to date and solve customer packaging issues.
• You will collect and document all necessary information for our projects.
• Where necessary, you organise technical consultations or project meetings with relevant departments.
• You calculate and determine prices based on the collected data, both for standard and customised components.
• Finally, you convert all calculated components into a clear quotation.

Profile

• An undergraduate thinking level or higher.
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and you work fluently with Autocad and/or other drawing programmes. Experience with an ERP system is a plus, but not a must.
• Team spirit! You enjoy working together, but are also independent and autonomous when needed.
• Technical understanding, enabling you to translate customer requests into appropriate solutions.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English. Other languages is an added advantage.
