Sales Engineer

As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will not actively prospect, but mainly work from leads.
• You will analyse these leads so that you can understand the customer's need and offer effective solutions.
• Drafting and presenting accurate and convincing quotations.
• You perform calculations to determine prices and cost estimates.
• Possibly take measurements to make the quotation as correct as possible.
• Manage assigned region to achieve sales targets.
• Participate in trade shows as a representative of the company and its products/solutions.
• Maintain relationships with customers, provide support and build trust.
• Weekly meeting with sales colleagues on Thursdays to discuss targets etc.
• Active promotion of the products/solutions to increase their awareness as well as sales.

As a sales engineer, you largely meet the following requirements:

• Technical background from degree or experience.
• Commercial and results-oriented mindset.
• Flexible working mentality with plenty of say to plan own schedule.
• Good communication and persuasive skills.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of French.

Our client is a financially sound and stable company that is continuing to grow. They are active in the design, production and installation of high-quality gates and doors. They currently employ around 100 of their own staff. To continue to support their growth and cope with requests, they are currently looking to strengthen their 6-person sales team.
