Function
Are you a night owl with a passion for quality? As a Local Quality Operator, you ensure that the distribution of newspaper subscriptions runs smoothly and meets the highest standards. In the Turnhout and surrounding area (Ravels/Kasterlee/Herentals/Geel), you will be the point of contact for external companies working within so-called SUB-HUBs. Your role in brief:
- Monitor and follow up the entire distribution chain to ensure everything is done according to the agreed quality.
- Proactively identifying and solving problems such as shortages or delays-even in the dead of night.
- Tracking complaints and invoicing in internal systems.
- Conduct regular checks and audits of transport firms and drivers.
- In case of emergencies such as bad weather or technical failures, you are on standby to coordinate emergency plans.
- Report and contribute constructively to improvement projects.
- Be back-up for colleagues in nearby regions when needed.
You will work mainly at night and move between different SUB-HUB locations within your region.
Profile
You are someone who thinks in solutions and knows how to get things done. For this role, we ask:
- Preferred night work experience is a plus!
- Dutch-speaking, with strong communication skills and an added bonus if you are proficient in French and English.
- A no-nonsense mentality and a hands-on working style.
- Operational problem-solving skills, even under time pressure.
- Knowledge and proficiency with IT systems and MS Office, including Excel.
- Flexibility in terms of places of work and willingness to travel within multiple regions if required.
- A B driving licence, as you will have a function car that you will use to navigate between locations.

- A 6-month contract, with a chance of extension.
- Salary according to bar scale PC 200, class C, including previous work experience.
- 20% night premium for the hours between 20:00 and 06:00.

- A working week of 37 hours on average, spread over 5 nights.
