Project Manager

Function

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of large-scale fire protection projects.

• You will be responsible for planning, budgeting and monitoring projects ranging from €300,000 to €1.5 million.
• Together with a team of site managers, engineers and sales professionals, you will work out concepts, ensure technical feasibility and lead project meetings.
• Ensure smooth and proactive flow of communication to all parties involved.
• Adivsing and supporting customers regarding feasibility of projects.
• Taking care of the financial administration related to your projects.
• You will be a bridge between the office and the shop floor, spending about 70% of your time in the office and 30% on project sites.
• Your working area is practically all of Flanders and Brussels.
• Preparation and analysis of project reports.
• Set up actions to maximise project profitability in a sustainable way.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a passion for technical challenges and project management.

Your profile:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field such as electromechanics or energy, or equivalent through experience.
• 5-10 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
• Strong technical understanding and interest to learn about fire protection.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
• Experience in financial monitoring, planning and risk management within projects.
• Willingness to travel to Beringen once a week for planning meetings.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of English is a plus.
• A hands-on mentality and the ability to make informed decisions.
