Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You are the customer's first point of contact after ordering and coordinate well with regard to delivery and technical requirements of the installation.
• You will monitor the production progress of these machines in collaboration with the production manager.
• You will be responsible for the internal quality control, calibrations and documentation of your projects. You are also open to performing these yourself from time to time.
• You take care of the acceptance of machines together with the customer (FAT) as well as the delivery and commissioning. For this, you will also be abroad from time to time.
• For more complex projects, you are the point of contact from A to Z for the customer as well as internally. In cooperation with sales, you are involved in the project application from the start. You will work out the necessary engineering alone or in a team and consult with customers and suppliers to prepare the project for production. This also includes further follow-up and installation at the customer's site.
• You are also involved in after-sales service. You offer technical support by requesting the necessary quotes for spares and services. You are also open to carrying out partial service assignments at the customer's site.
• You will actively participate in the innovation of the existing plants in order to achieve product improvements or new products.

As a Project Engineer, you will largely meet the following requirements:

• You have a technical master's or bachelor's degree (electricity, electromechanics, automation,...) or are equivalent through experience.
• You already have initial work experience in a similar position.
• You have a good knowledge of electricity and
• Experience with drawing programmes is a plus.
• You have a hands-on attitude.
• You are willing to travel (on average once or twice a month for a few days).
• You can work independently but also have a well-developed team spirit.
• You have strong communication skills when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• You have a very good knowledge of both English and Dutch.
