Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will be pivotal in the design, development and implementation of customised technical solutions. You work closely with various stakeholders and are responsible for the successful completion of complex metal projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Design and development of metal projects and high-quality technical solutions
• Preparing tenders and co-determining prices for installations
• Coordinating assembly of metal structures
• Maintaining and applying know-how in welding techniques and metallurgical behaviour
• Drawing and designing with Inventor and AutoCAD, including creating technical drawings, diagrams, calculations and analyses
• Conducting prospecting and on-site measurements
• Initial contact with client representatives and occasional travel for site visits

For this challenging position, we are looking for a Project Engineer with strong technical and communication skills, who has an eye for detail and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master in electromechanics or equivalent experience
• Excellent command of Dutch and proficiency in English and French
• Experience in welding and metallurgy, fabrication and assembly of metal structures or a strong interest/willingness to specialise in the metal sector
• Familiarity with Inventor and AutoCAD
• Accurate, results-oriented, stress-resistant and loyal
• Willing to travel occasionally
