Technical services manager
Function
As Manager Technical Services, you will have ultimate responsibility for the technical management of our innovative and technologically advanced production environment. In this key role, you will link maintenance, projects, automation and safety and, as a member of the plant management team, translate strategic objectives into concrete actions and improvement projects.
You will report to the site manager.
Your responsibilities:
- Leadership: You manage a high-performing technical department of 42 employees, 10 of whom report directly to you. You coach and inspire your team, which operates across three production departments, each with its own unique installations and processes.
- Strategy: In cooperation with plant management, you will develop a long-term strategy for maintenance and automation.
- Planning & Analysis: You draw up and follow up annual action plans and perform ROI analyses. Together with the maintenance managers and automation specialists in your team, you implement and optimise the maintenance and automation processes.
- Budget management: You closely manage and monitor budgets for the technical service.
- Innovation: You initiate, evaluate and prioritise improvement projects. In doing so, you closely follow technological developments and translate them into concrete applications.
- Safety & Quality: You ensure a strong safety culture and strive for continuous improvement.
Profile
- You have a master's degree in a technical field and strong all-round technical knowledge, knowledge of AI is a plus.
- You are an experienced People manager (at least 10 years in a leadership role) with a coaching and inspirational leadership style and a hands-on mentality.
- You are a team player with persuasiveness and strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
- You are analytically strong and make decisions based on data.
- You have project management experience in complex organisations.
- You have knowledge of maintenance software, are fluent with other software and familiar with safety and quality systems in a production environment.
- You are willing to take part in the on-call duty scheme in due course.
