Function

As a 'Flying Warehouse Operator Antwerp', you play a crucial role within the logistics process and take responsibility for managing and replenishing various stock systems at customers in the Antwerp and Limburg region. This includes:

• Maintaining KANBAN racks.
• Management of ORSYmat vending machines.
• Use of EASYscan systems.
• You will visit 1 to 3 customers per day depending on the size of the company.
• The materials are delivered directly to the customer. It is up to you to process them correctly.
• You will start from home from this position.
• You are the customer's point of contact.
• You liaise with the office.
• You act as the first point of contact for customers and ensure optimal stock management, maintaining an orderly and accurate working method to deliver high-quality service. Furthermore, you are an important link between the customer's production departments and our sales office.
• Use of both manual and electric transpallets.

Profile

Who are we looking for for this role?

• Experience or motivated starter.
• You have some knowledge of warehouse work through experience or training.
• You have a driving licence B.
• You have a neat appearance and are smooth with customers.
• You are flexible to hours. You have the scope to decide a stretch yourself when you start at a client's premises. Of course, a job-on-job position is congestion-sensitive.
• Be able to work independently on site and have a hands-on mentality.
• A customer-oriented attitude with a focus on reliability and high-quality service.
• Language skills: Dutch very good, French is a big plus

Our client is part of a larger German group. In Belgium, they have two branches one in Lokeren and one in Liège. From there, they supply high-quality fasteners and C-parts to companies all over the country. They also offer the additional service of system stocking to relieve their customers' supply chains. as part of this service, we are looking for a flying warehouse worker for the Antwerp and Limburg region.
