Logistics clerk

Our client located in Tielt is looking for a motivated and inquisitive logistics clerk with a hands-on mentality!

What will all be part of your duties in this role?

• You provide administrative support to various colleagues (this can range from invoicing to logistics)
• You will be the point of contact for customers both by phone and email
• Filing and sorting transport documents via weekly planning
• Preparing diesel reports and forwarding them to the main manager
• Putting driver secondments in order
• Preparation of empties reports using an Excel document
• Communication with drivers (by phone or WhatsApp)
• All-round logistics administration

As a logistics clerk for our client located in Tielt, you ideally possess the following profile:

• If in addition to Dutch, you can speak a word of French, English, German or even Romanian you have an extra foot for
• You are stress-resistant and can take a beating
• If you already have experience in International Transport this is an advantage, but it is certainly not a must
• You have a sense of order and tidiness
• You have strong communication skills towards both colleagues, customers and drivers
• You are not afraid to take on new business, a hands-on mentality and drive are highly valued by our client
• You can work fluently with the MS Office package
• You hold a type B driving licence (public transport is not an option)

Our client is a family business located in Tielt that specialises in International refrigerated road transport.

They have a fleet of about 40 cars and they work with both in-house and external drivers.

They are looking for a new, cool and above all motivated worker to join a team of five clerks.
