Inbound logistics coordinator
Function
In the role of Inbound Logistics Coordinator, based in Wommelgem, you will work within the European Central Warehouse (ECW) and contribute to the smooth management of inbound orders and stock. You are an important link between various departments, including Warehouse, Quality, IT, local EU offices, HQ Japan, and transporters. Cooperation is essential here.
Your duties will include:
- Placing, following up and expediting incoming orders when necessary.
- Maintaining correct master data.
- Managing inventory in the ERP system.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and transporters.
- Actively sharing relevant information and contributing to team-wide goals.
With your analytical view and results-oriented mentality, you will ensure that the availability of goods is always on time and in line with customers' needs. Collaboration is key, making you a valuable contributor to the team's joint performance.
Profile
Who are we looking for for this role?
- You have at least a Bachelor's degree under your belt.
- Your command of Dutch and English is excellent, both orally and in writing.
- You are familiar with ERP and/or WMS systems.
- The MS Office package holds no secrets for you.
- You have 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Project-based working is familiar territory for you.
- You have experience with QLTC(S) processes.
- You are customer-oriented and can communicate clearly.
- You have strong analytical skills and work in a planned manner.
- You remain calm under pressure and always find a solution.

Our client has been operating in Wommelgem since 1986. The company offers high-tech automation solutions for the European market. The central warehouse for Europe is located in Wommelgem. It was recently heavily invested in and further automated. In the local stock, more than 35,000 products are ready for fast delivery.

- A full-time contract of 39 hours per week with 6 ADV days for white-collar workers (Mon-Do 8h/d and Fri 6h/d).
