Are you an experienced freight forwarder with a passion for logistics? Then we have the perfect challenge for you! Our client, a renowned specialist in green coffee and cocoa, is looking for a driven professional to join the team in Antwerp strengthen. You will be responsible for coordinating complex shipments, preparing export documents and liaising with customers, transport companies and shipping companies.

Your duties will include:

• Preparation of export documents.
• Following up with customers and providing them with regular updates.
• Completing billing processes and handling files from A to Z.
• Requesting transport rates and arranging transports.
• Liaise with transport companies, shipping companies and other logistics partners.
• Preparation of documents and full handling of shipments.
• Prioritise in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Profile

We are looking for an Expeditor with the following profile:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in export shipping.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office.
• Command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Solution-oriented and pragmatic thinking skills; extensive in-house training will be provided.
• Accurate work with an eye for detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
• No 9-to-5 mentality; flexibility is a must.

Organisation

Our client has specialised in green coffee and cocoa processing and distribution. The company has become a leading warehouse player for both commodities.

They also have their own transport department. That department transports customers' goods from all segments, from fruit to coffee over chocolate to steel. This usually takes place within a radius of five hundred kilometres around the port of Antwerp. Eighty per cent of the work consists of container transport.
