Freight forwarder

As a freight forwarder, you will be responsible for:

• Shipping goods from place of departure to place of destination on behalf of a principal.
• Choosing and reserving the means of transport and closely monitoring shipments. (import and export - sea freight)
• You will occasionally take away original documents by car.
• You take care of deferring certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, B/Ls and HSEs.
• Ensuring strict compliance with documentary credit and insurance requirements.
• Arranging storage for goods and pre-financing transport.
• Ensuring that goods reach their destination within the agreed time frame and rates.

Your profile as a freight forwarder:

• You have a solid foundation in shipping through experience.
• You have also preferably done invoicing.
• You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
• You are precise.
• You can work independently.
• You are easy-going and customer-oriented.
• You have a driving licence B.
