Function

In this vacancy as export air freight clerk, we are looking for someone who wants to take on the following tasks:

- Ensure timely and accurate movement of (air) cargo and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Export department

- Ensuring the smooth and timely flow of freight shipments

- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system

- Track and Trace Air Export Files and reporting

- Use Tree View on a daily basis

- Ensuring accurate and timely customer and supplier billing

- Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meet customer service standards

- Contributing to and maintaining good relationships with suppliers (airlines, trucking companies and other stakeholders)

- Comply at all times with internal and external regulations in accordance with government regulations

- Understand the department's process flow, and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity

- Ensure all clients have standard operating procedures in place and updated in the DLSOPs

- Meet KPI standards in accordance with company procedures

- Overseas communication, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)

- Escalating problems to management when necessary

- Promotes compliance with all company policies and regulations and performs the relevant task with outstanding integrity and pride

Profile

We are looking for clerk export to complete our team, preferably someone with the following profile:

- Effective social skills, including proven skills to listen, understand, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive outcomes

- Pro-active, strong organisational skills

- Good computer skills (Excel, Word)

- Fluent Dutch and strong knowledge of English

- You adhere to the company's 10 cultural characteristics:

- Experience is a plus but not a requirement

- Willing to work shifts between: 08.00 h - 16.30 h and 11.00 h 19.30 h
