Customer service agent

Function

Are you a logistics talent, ready to support the transport world? As a Customer Service Agent Transport, you will work closely with a key account in the Healthcare sector, a US multinational. Your tasks include processing orders, following up transports via external partners such as FedEx, close contact with the warehouse, prioritising orders and notifying carriers of orders. In short, you are the link that makes sure everything runs smoothly in the dynamic world of logistics. The work location is in Ghent (East Flanders, Belgium).

Profile

To achieve success in this role, we ask the following:

• First experience within transport or logistics (such as logistics clerk, transport planner, freight forwarder).
• Process knowledge of the logistics sector is a must.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Flexibility to work between 8 am and 6 pm (day shifts with alternations in early and late shifts).
• Availability to start on temporary basis (temporary, with chance of extension).
