Calculator for heritage projects

As a calculator, you are a crucial link in the preparatory phase of renovation projects. Your main task consists of preparing detailed cost price calculations, relying on your own expertise, estimation skills and commercial insight.

To make these calculations, you thoroughly analyse project files and specifications. You filter out the most important data and, if necessary, call in architects or competent bodies to gather additional information. This ensures that you always have the right input.

Furthermore, you are responsible for requesting prices from subcontractors and suppliers. You ensure that quotations are received on time and interpret them accurately. You also compare the technical aspects of the project with the appropriate execution methods within the organisation. Where possible, you investigate alternative and more efficient working methods, thereby contributing to commercial progress and innovation within the division.

For the Restoration & Repurposing division, our client is looking for a calculator specifically for the crafts centre and interior segment. This means you will focus on preparing quotations around craft joinery, natural stone, stained-glass constructions and restorative interior projects.

• You have a degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Construction, complemented by several years of relevant experience.
• Experience in public procurement is an added bonus.
• You work fluently with Word, Excel and Outlook.
