Calculator
Function
As a Calculator, you will be responsible for developing technical and commercial proposals for industrial water projects and support the entire tender process.
- Preparation of detailed cost estimates and bills of materials based on internal designs and customer requirements
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs, electrical diagrams and construction plans
- Advising and collaborating with sales, process technology and project engineering
- Maintaining supplier relationships and tracking CAPEX and OPEX levels
- Contribute to competitive and technically correct offers, including planning and scheduling proposals
- Supporting the project engineering team during the design and construction phase
- Thinking along on alternative solutions and design improvements
- Assist customers and sales engineers in the presentation of offers where necessary
- Participating in limited standby duty
Profile
- Master's degree in industrial engineering (chemistry, biochemistry, environmental science) or bioengineering
- Experience in water technology and sustainable industrial solutions is a plus
- Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical engineering
- Analytical, structured, attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience with tenders, project calculations and tender processes is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and professional English; knowledge of French is an asset
- Customer-oriented and able to translate technical challenges into feasible solutions
