As an automation & electrical engineer, you are a key link in streamlining the production processes where automated systems play a crucial role in efficiency and quality. In this role, you are responsible for working out, implementing and optimising electrical installations and automation systems.


Your duties will include:

  • Support the technical department and production in electrical engineering and automation.
  • Elaborating and modifying new and existing electrical installations.
  • Performing (preventive) electrical maintenance work on production machines.
  • Optimise and automate existing processes and systems.
  • Designing and modifying electrical schematics in Eplan and AutoCad.
  • Resolve and analyse electrical faults and defects in control systems.
  • Follow up on electrical inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards.
  • Initiate and implement improvement projects to increase production efficiency and reduce downtime.

Profile

  • You have enjoyed higher education in a technical field.
  • You can present a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and are familiar with current process instrumentation as well as drive technologies.
  • You have a passion for engineering with an expertise in electricity and automation.
  • You have the ability to go in-depth on complex problems while maintaining a complete overview.
  • You dare to take initiative and have a hands-on mentality.
  • You have a good knowledge of Eplan, AutoCad, Tia-Portal and Siemens S7.
  • You can bring the necessary flexibility and stress resistance on board.
  • You are a positive team player, but can also plan and organise your tasks independently.
