Bookkeeper

Function

As an accountant, you will strengthen the finance team of our client, active in the food industry. You play a key role in day-to-day accounting and support the further professionalisation of the financial operation.

• Entry and processing of purchase invoices.
• Support the finance manager in monthly and year-end closures.
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Participate in a growing focus on reporting and controlling.
• Gradually take on additional responsibilities according to your experience and ambition.

Profile

For the vacancy of accountant, we are looking for the following profile:

• Relevant experience in accounting or financial administration
• A degree is not a must, practical experience all the more so
• You work independently and take initiative
• You feel comfortable in a changing environment
• You are proactive and think about improvements
• You want to grow in a role with future prospects

Our client is an established player in the food industry and is part of an international group. The finance department consists of a close-knit team with strong profiles, including a CFO and finance manager. Due to the recent integration within a larger group, the focus is further on professionalisation, reporting and controlling. To strengthen their team, they are looking for a Bookkeeper.
