What exactly will the job of work planner entail at this company? 

- You will determine the price of the requested work as accurately as possible

- Afterwards, you draw up a clear offer, taking into account the application or the specifications 

- Preparing documentation after the assignment so that colleagues in the execution can expect a timely handover 

- Suppliers and subcontractors become your new best friends and you will be in regular contact with them.

- Nothing goes unseen under your eye when it comes to quality issues such as QA/QC

- You will prepare the As built file 

- In addition to the suppliers and subcontractors, the site managers become your second family as you will act as a supporting right hand 

- Initiators are certainly welcome; your creative brain ensures that the work can be done even more efficiently, ergonomically and qualitatively.

Our client is a global contractor for industrial and petrochemical facilities, specialising in tank construction and tank maintenance. They have been around for 100 years now and currently more than 1000 people work for this company. They are not only known in Belgium but also have offices in the Netherlands, Estonia, Singapore and the United States.
Although this company has grown into one of the biggest players in the sector, they like to keep the family character. They are young and growing, but for their challenging projects they can certainly use some new talent. Their projects are mainly located in the Port of Antwerp on industrial sites.

Are you (almost) graduated as a Bachelor of Construction? Maybe even Master Industrial Engineer in Construction? Or do you already have a few years of experience as a work planner? 
Then it is definitely worth applying! 

What things are an advantage if you want to work as a work planner?

- Ability to work in a team as you will be working in a large and diverse team 

- Deadlines and stressful situations don't do much or give you even more energy

- You know how to work with the standard computer programmes such as Word and Excel and can also compose professional mails 

- It involves a number of administrative tasks that need to be carried out with some care
