Troubleshooting technician

The following tasks are your responsibility:

• You analyse and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• You optimise automated production installations in terms of production output, quality and technical reliability.
• You carry out preventive and corrective/curative maintenance tasks for electrical and mechanical installations.
• You identify, repair or replace defective systems or components of industrial installations in accordance with regulations, machine codes, documentation, etc.
• You provide training and support to colleagues and of course you will in turn receive the necessary training and support.
• You will be closely involved in the introduction of new installations, processes and new vehicle models.
• You work as part of a team with fellow technicians.

The ideal troubleshooting technician:

• Has a technical degree, preferably a Bachelor's degree in energy technology, electromechanics-automation,...
• Shows an interest in electricity, automation, PLCs.
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Has experience with automated production lines.
• Has knowledge of PLC-controlled machines.
• Shows a desire to grow by continuously expanding his/her knowledge and is up to date with the latest technological developments.
• Is willing to work in a 2-shift system, fixed night shift or weekend shift.
