For the Treasury Officer position, you will be part of the Group's Corporate Treasury team and work in an international context.

You will also work closely with the local Finance Managers and their teams.

Some of your tasks include:

• Daily central monitoring and management of banking processes and financial transactions, both external and intercompany.
• Follow-up and management of factoring programme.
• Tracking central cash positions on a daily basis and for transaction execution. With the aim of using the Group's cash efficiently and cost-consciously.
• Maintain close cooperation with accounting colleagues for efficient and adequate processing of treasury flows.
• Liaise with banks on operational activities (payments, drawdowns, conclusion of foreign currency transactions and implementation of bank proxies).
• Support in opening and managing bank accounts, credit contracts, etc.
• Monitoring and hedging the group's FX risks.
• Implementation and registration of intercompany loans.
• Monitoring and challenging bank charges.
• Managing the setting of their treasury management system: Kyriba.
• You are continuously looking for process optimisation in cooperation with the IT and Finance Process Support Manager.
• You report to the Corporate Treasurer.

Our client is active in the production of carton and paper packaging based on recycled fibres. This Belgian company is a growing group with more than 70 branches spread over some 20 countries worldwide. In total, the group has around 6400 employees.

They are currently looking for a Treasury Officer.

For the Treasury Officer position, we are looking for someone with the following qualities:

• You have a master's degree in an economic field.
• You have a minimum of 1 - 3 years of relevant experience within corporate treasury.
• You have very good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Kyriba is a plus.
• You have knowledge of English.
• You have strong analytical skills.
• You have a broad Finance interest and maintain a helicopter view at all times.
• You are a team player.
• You can work well independently and are stress resistant.
