Technical Draughtsman

As a technical draftsman he your following responsibilities:

• You provide the correct technical construction drawings for our POP (Point of Presence) production.
• You provide support to the product development team.
• You will be responsible for the technical documentation of various POPs.
• You will draw technical solutions into 3D models.
• You elaborate drawings within technical capabilities, production capacities, quality and budget.
• You will design and develop POP installations.
• You will be responsible for drafting technical execution and project documents such as a construction book.

Our client is a market leader in passive equipment for the utilities sector: telecoms, electricity, water and gas. Together with their suppliers, they develop ideas to respond to new market developments or specific customer needs. Their products and expertise are fully geared to, among other things, the "green deal", energy transition and fibre roll-out in Europe. For their production unit in Verrebroek (Beveren-Waas), they are currently looking for a technical draughtsman who will be responsible for technical documentation and technical drawings.

As a technical draftsman, you will largely meet the following requirements:

• You have a technical bachelor's degree (e.g. electromechanics, electrical engineering,...)or are equivalent through experience.
• You are a school leaver or already have initial work experience.
• You speak and write Dutch well. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• You can work well with MS Office.
• You have knowledge and/or experience with Autocad or similar drawing programmes.
• You are punctual and structured.
• You are a real problem solver.
• You are creative, communicative and independent.
• Some affinity with electrical schematics is a plus.
