From behind your desk in the technical department you are in close contact with a variety of customers (installers, IT managers, wholesalers) as well as colleagues from the international sales, marketing and field engineering teams.

Technical advice: analysing and following up technical problems and finding solutions for different types of installations (conference / theatre rooms, distribution of AV-signals, data centres, control rooms, kiosks, ...) in different industries (defence, entertainment, business, transport, telecom, broadcasting, education, ...) for often well-known end users. You also like to pass on sales opportunities to the sales team. As a support wizard you help the IT managers and system engineers at the end customers or installers. Every day you will be testing products, simulating technical problems, looking for solutions together with colleagues and reading manuals / product comparisons. Occasionally you will visit an installation together with a sales account manager.

Internal systems: analysis of internal IT systems and translation of IT needs into practical proposals to the IT partner. You will work closely with various IT partners in implementing and maintaining day-to-day operating systems, server management, as well as time recording and maintaining security systems.

Product testing: regular testing of new products or firmware upgrades and providing insights to the R&D teams. Gaining insight into the product life cycle and advising the product manager.
