Technical Sales Hoses

• Answering customer queries by telephone and by e-mail: offering the optimal solution within the hoses/hoses product group without having seen the machines/equipment in person
• Consideration of product flowing through pipes, temperature, pressure, quality requirements, etc.
• Drawing up quotations in consultation with application engineers (technical insight in 2D/3D drawings required)
• Follow-up of the tenders
• Order formatting
• Close cooperation with Application Engineers & back office colleagues
• In search of the right solution for the customer contacts with suppliers, colleagues in logistics, quality

Our client is the industry partner for the most extensive range of technical components: power transmission, seals, valves and instrumentation, hoses, tools, lifting and hoisting equipment, plastics, rubber technology, plastic pipe systems, workshop equipment, safety and maintenance products. Their customers are to be found in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical industries.

They have the necessary expertise and the capacity to think along with the customer and their production unit and manufacture or adapt the most appropriate components for certain applications. 

The company has 11 departments in Belgium and for their Hoses business unit in Asse, they are looking for a new colleague to strengthen their Technical Sales team.

• You have a bachelor's degree in (electro)mechanics/chemistry or are equivalent through experience
• You have a commercial flair and think in solutions for both the company and its customers
• You have technical insight and are able to read plans
• You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English
• Knowledge of French is an advantage
