Technical engineer

• Based on analyses of existing techniques and trends, you work out improvement concepts, for which you also prepare feasibility studies and budgets.
• You design and develop new installations and techniques, whether or not in collaboration with external partners. You are also actively involved in installation and setup and coordinate the work, always respecting our SHEQ standards.
• To our sites, you will provide technical support and prepare detailed documentation such as work instructions, specifications and user manuals.
• Annually, you will monitor inspections at all our sites.
• In this position, you will functionally report to the COO and work closely with the Project Manager, Maintenance Specialist and plant managers.

You have at least a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

You have accumulated several years of experience in an industrial environment. Have you worked as a designer in mechanical engineering? That is definitely an added value.

You not only have good knowledge of software packages such as Autocad Mechanical and/or Autodesk Inventor, but also of operating systems and programming environments such as Tia Portal.

Besides Dutch, you express yourself fluently in English. Other languages are an advantage.

You work independently, but also like to work well in a team.

You have an analytical and problem-solving attitude.

You are good at prioritising and shifting gears quickly. Moreover, you work accurately and punctually.

You have a flexible attitude and are willing to travel within Europe.
