Technical Engineer

For our client in Zwijndrecht, we are looking for a technical engineer for their rotating equipment department. For this position, you will play a crucial role in the overhaul of pumps, gearboxes and screw compressors. In this job, you work independently, but you can always rely on the expertise of your colleagues in the mechanical engineering team. You will keep the overview, maintain contact with customers and inform the organisation about the progress of projects.

• You will coordinate inspections and overhauls, meeting deadlines.
• You measure and draw parts that need to be replaced.
• You will analyse available information and think about possible causes of damage.
• You coordinate progress and planning with both colleagues and customers.
• You place timely orders for required parts and consult with suppliers on technical issues.
• You will contribute to quality reports and ensure an orderly and quality-conscious working environment.
• You think creatively about effective and quality solutions from your position.

For this technical engineer position, we are looking for the following profile.

• You have a degree in electromechanics (bachelor's or master's degree).
• Relevant experience or knowledge regarding rotating equipment is a great asset.
• You have knowledge of Autocad; Inventor and PTC Creo.
• You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality, you can be flexible when needed.
• Command of Dutch and English (written and oral) is a requirement.
• You have strong communication skills towards customers and can work well both independently and in a team.
• Solution-oriented thinking and being stress-resistant typifies you.
