Technical Draughtsman

Your duties as a technical draftsman:

• You translate the technical project requirements from the technical contract into execution plan.
• You will prepare execution drawings.
• You will develop layouts, technical sketches ...
• You will be responsible for preparing a Bill of Materials.
• You coordinate execution based on the production process.
• ...

As Technical Draftsman, you have the following profile:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or have completed an equivalent course.
• Thinking logically is among your strengths.
• You are passionate about using drawing software such as Autocad 2D, Inventor and Autoplant; experience with 3D is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and related standards is a plus.
• Working independently is not a problem for you.
• Language skills in Dutch and English are required, knowledge of French is an added advantage.

This family business is a specialist in total solutions for liquid storage tanks in the petrochemical sector. You will find them in the port of Antwerp with their headquarters, a modern building with large windows and open desk's. In total, they employ around 200 people. They can offer their customers projects from A-Z as they have their own engineering department, production, quality service and they also do installation onsite. Customers include multinationals in the port of Antwerp but they also operate in the Netherlands, France and Luxembourg.
