Technical commercial manager

Your position consists of two parts:

Regarding the purchasing part you are responsible for analysing the offers received and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

Based on your commercial efforts, you select suppliers/subcontractors. You are responsible for finalising the purchase.

With regard to price quotes you are responsible for preparing and following up price quotes for the roadworks/groundworks/ demolition works.

You maintain commercial relationships with customers.

During the execution of construction sites, you will prepare prices for additional works to be carried out, if necessary. works to be carried out. You will be in constant contact with the project managers and will also visit the sites from time to time. 

After execution of the works, you prepare a post-calculation that is discussed with the project managers and used in the optimisation of future price quotations.

Our client, a family-owned company, has more than 5 decades of experience within various sectors. They are experienced in road works, demolition works and operating sand quarries. This still forms the firm's broad base. Later, activities expanded to the rental of waste containers and the operation of a sorting centre to sort its own construction and demolition waste. Currently, the group employs 65 people. Our client is mainly located within Flemish Brabant, Walloon Brabant and the Brussels Capital Region.

For this position, we are looking for someone with the following attributes:

- You work problem-solving and have a numerical understanding and a great sense of responsibility, 

- We expect you to be communicative and commercially minded,

- Due to the area of activity, bilingualism is a requirement,

- You have done some construction-related studies or have previous experience in the construction industry,

- Due to the nature of the job, a B driving licence is really necessary.
