Profile

Responsibilities: Leading the service 'administration': Organising, coordinating and keeping an overview of tasks and responsibilities. Drive the administrative team: Ensure accurate execution of all administrative tasks. Organising and coordinating: Preparation of weekly payroll (in collaboration with CEPA) for port and logistics workers. Administrative management and customer-oriented handling of claims. Follow-up of terminal-related customs formalities. Follow-up of invoicing, including proforma invoices. Classification and data management of all tasks related to service administration. Structuring and organising the team. Making clear agreements and ensuring correct compliance. Actively participating as an administrative force. Communicating extensively with all departments involved.

Organisation

This company is part of an international group. Their Belgian headquarters is located in Ghent, but we are also looking for quite a few new colleagues's for Antwerp. The company specialises in the storage & handling of bulk goods (dry bulk & cash) & fruit in seaports in Europe and Africa. In Belgium, it operates in port of Antwerp-Bruges and Ghent, loading, unloading and temporary storage of goods at around 20 sites.
