They offer you a challenging full-time position in a powerful and dynamic international company. Our client is part of the world's largest retailer in the field of health & beauty. Ambitious professionals who seize opportunities, dare to make decisions and feel at home in an informal, no-nonsense and result-oriented organisation, can count on excellent future perspectives. Excellent terms of employment speak for themselves.

Function

In this position, together with your colleagues from DevOps Supply Chain & Trade, you are responsible for the development (Dev) and management (Ops) of the available systems and (business intelligence) tools. The goal is to provide the internal customer (within the Supply Chain & Trade departments) with optimal automated support in order to carry out his/her work as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Your duties will include:

  • Optimising existing processes by acting as supply chain expert in continuous improvement projects. Starting with the thorough analysis of a process to ending with end-to-end testing and documenting the realised optimisation.
  • Implementing new processes and/or systems by taking the lead in current and new projects in the field of Stock, Data Management & Trade or Logistics (drawn up by the Logistic Project Manager): monitoring, developing, supporting, communicating to various departments and implementing. Ensuring that these new processes/systems fit in with the existing work and the accompanying software is central to this.
  • Connecting the development teams and the operations teams. You are therefore involved in understanding the needs and constraints of the business and translating these into the language of an IT professional.
  • Drawing up and keeping up-to-date system documentation and procedures does not scare you. A project is only complete when the necessary documentation is clear to everyone.
  • The management of the present Supply Chain & Trade systems and tools: in the event of issues, providing a solution so that Supply Chain and Trade processes can return to normal as quickly as possible.

Organisation

Our client is a well-known player in the cosmetics sector. It is a successful retail chain where beauty products are central.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a logistics, business administration or computer science field.
