Stability Engineer

What can the Engineering Office offer you for the stability engineer vacancy? 

• You will learn all the steps of the construction process

• By working a 40-hour week, you will build up 12 recuperation days on top of your 20 statutory holidays
• Flexibility in the timetable is provided. Most start between 7.30am and 8.30am. The earliest stopping time is 3.30pm

• Construction leave is followed, giving you 3 weeks' leave in summer and about 1 week between Christmas and New Year. In addition, you will have some days free to choose.

To carry out the job of Stability Engineer in the Ghent region, you can expect the following range of duties: 

• After receiving the plans from the architect, you start the stability file
• To make the study provide the calculations
• Meeting with the architect to discuss the project
• As soon as the file is drawn up, you provide the necessary data to the architectural draftsman
• During project execution, you will go on site to help monitor the site and attend site meetings

This includes flats, houses, office buildings and the occasional industrial building. 

The team consists of 7 people (Stability engineers + Structural draftsmen)

Do you enjoy calculating and calculating stability? 

For this vacancy, we are looking for someone with the following profile: 

• A Master's degree is required to hold an engineering position 
• The young team is in need of reinforcement so they are looking for someone with experience 
• You have analytical skills, as you will mainly be working with figures
• Drawing is done in Allplan, calculation is done in Buildsoft, knowledge of these programmes is a plus
• Knowledge of Dutch suffices o.w.v. Dutch-language dossiers
