As an overhead line site manager, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks: 

• concretising the project lines set out by the project leader, in consultation with you
• You will be responsible for one or more sites and manage one or more shifts.
• Furthermore, you determine the short-term planning and take care of the organisation on site: you ensure that all materials are present on site, you make sure that there are enough people on site and clearly indicate what exactly needs to be done.
• You understand the works being carried out and can manage and motivate people in a positive way.
• As point of contact for the board and the teams, you communicate to the project leader and ensure good cooperation. Through a structured follow-up of the sites and tours, you ensure that you are perfectly informed of the situation and make adjustments where necessary. You also perform the necessary administrative tasks

This company specialises in total projects from A to Z. They mainly operate in the electricity sector and are active in various fields, e.g. lighting installations, railway techniques, general earthworks, land surveying, etc. They are located in the region of Wingene but have projects all over Belgium.

We are looking for the following profile: 

• someone who is hands-on and can keep an overview.
• Experience or degrees in the field are useful.
• You have some technical and material knowledge and know how to carry out the works.
• You can work independently and are flexible towards hours, with night and weekend work not being a stumbling block. 
• Your command of the Dutch language.
• You possess a driving licence B.

Additional qualifications (VCA-basis, certificates for driving all kinds of machines) are always an asset. You are a team player who helps look for solutions and your own input is always appreciated. You can motivate people and explain clearly to your team how work has to be done.
