That's why they have a career path for young potentials: you get to know their activities inside and out by working as an installation engineer/electrician on customer sites in a variety of sectors, industrial or tertiary, and in their workshop. This way, you learn to estimate how long certain works take, how much space there is to carry out certain installations and works, which materials and components are used, ... You will e.g. pull cables, build-test-install signs, connect machines and installations, ... These important practical insights you take with you later on in your development towards engineering or more managerial work, depending on your strengths and preferences.

In the beginning, it may vary quickly in projects to give you a taste of different things. Timing of the course depends very much on your own preferences, strengths, growth curve, etc.

Some people, for example, are asking to remain hands-on at the shipyards for a longer period of time, while others are finding their passion in long-term shipyard management.

On the other hand, experienced persons within electro or experienced site managers may also qualify. This means that the career path can be shortened or skipped.

Because it concerns a larger multi-technical group, other internal career opportunities are also possible, such as the engineering department for positions as work planner/calculator, designer, project engineer or more in the commercial direction.

For a multi-technical group in the Ghent area, we are looking for recent graduates or jr. profiles with first work experience for the electrical solutions department. The company is a service provider for both industry and the tertiary sector and realises electrical installation projects. Various specialisations are possible: from medium voltage and sign construction over emergency power supplies and charging stations to network infrastructure, security and smart building techniques. This is just a small selection of the specialised units and sub-companies that make up the group. Thanks to the group's multi-technicality, they can also realise total projects for their customers. The group puts strong emphasis on practical knowledge, so they have a hands-on mentality.

You see yourself in (one of) the following points:

- Technical Bachelor or Master level graduate or A2 and experienced within industrial electrical / site management

- Great passion for electricity in the broad sense

- Your passion does not stop with your studies, but also in your free time and in extra-curricular activities you like to apply yourself to this domain

- Hands-on experience in this field in a student job, side project, internship, ... is a plus

- You are motivated to invest in yourself in order to grow
