As site manager for structural work, you work closely with the (assistant) project manager, but depending on your experience, there is also a certain level of autonomy and freedom.

• You are responsible for coordinating and monitoring the work on the site. 
• You ensure the continuity of the site by ordering and calling in materials in a timely manner, and by smoothly communicating with and monitoring subcontractors. 
• You provide organisational leadership to a team of construction workers and know how to motivate them to achieve the best results. 
• You are responsible for following and respecting the planning. You monitor the quality of the work to be carried out and ensure that everyone can work safely and well. 
• You actively attend site meetings. You are responsible for the complete execution of the project up to the provisional delivery and the aftercare until the final delivery.
• You communicate and link back to the (assistant) project leader in all essential technical, administrative and staffing tasks.

Our client is a contractor that executes works in class 7. They specialise mainly in turnkey projects. This for both the public and private sector. Their sites are located in Flanders, sometimes also in the French-speaking part of the country. French language skills come in handy.

For the position of site manager for structural work, you preferably have a bachelor's degree in construction or at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a site manager.

• You are flexible and a go-getter to deliver good work.
• You are eager to learn, an initiator and a problem solver.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language. Other languages are a plus.
• You can use MS Office.
• You are in possession of a driving licence B.
• You are a real expert in structural work and have the right people management skills.
