Service Engineer

You will be working a 39-hour week, which entitles you to 6 ADV days. Overtime can also be taken for extra leave.

As service engineer intralogistics applications you are responsible for the following tasks:

• You are responsible for the BENELUX region (with a focus on Flanders and the Netherlands) where you are in charge of setting up and assembling intralogistics solutions.
• You are also responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• After an introductory period, you will work in a 24/7 breakdown service system together with about eight other colleagues.
• If you have enough experience as a technician, you can advance to an 'on-site' site manager position, where you can still work hands-on.
• You are precise and punctual with your administration so that the back office is always informed.
• You have good communication skills both internally and externally.
• You think along, give your input on the planning and possibly make recommendations on optimisations in general.

Our client is an SME with about 50 employees active in the field of warehouse and workshop equipment and intralogistics solutions. They are active in a number of business units including automatic warehouse equipment, classic storage systems, material handling and WMS software.
To strengthen their growth, they are currently looking for a Service Engineer.

• You preferably have a higher degree in a technical direction (bachelor electromechanics, automation, ...). Or equivalent by experience.
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Basic knowledge of French is required.
• You have a strong technical insight and can therefore build up a broad product knowledge.
• You have an understanding of WMS and Warehousing concepts & solutions or you are willing to learn more.
• Complex problems are tackled with thorough logic and knowledge.
• In your search for solutions, you consider all available possibilities and do not think in terms of problems.
• You strive for improvements through analysis of both failures and successes.
• You pick up new information quickly and do not fear change.
• You are easy going and considerate of others.
• You maintain good communication with the Project Managers and the other departments within the company.
• You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality.
