As a sales support engineer you are responsible for:

• as technical sales support, you are the contact person for both end users and distributors in the use of the devices and software
• you are creative in your advice and in finding solutions for the customers' application questions and needs
• you provide conclusive information by explaining the technical details and you guide the customer during the process if there are further questions from production to installation
• you give demos for both customers and prospects, indoors, outdoors and sometimes even abroad
• You consult with colleagues as part of the Sales Support team, where you report to the Sales Support Manager.

This company is located in the Ostend region and is a renowned machine builder within cutting solutions. The cutting equipment is mainly used in the graphic, signage, display, clothing and packaging industries.

As a sales support engineer, you preferably meet the following requirements:

• you have a technical background and at least one year of experience
• You are customer and service oriented
• you communicate fluently in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is definitely an asset
• you can work independently
• you get strength from thinking up solutions to application questions
