Function

For our client we are looking for a sales representative.

Your duties will include:

  • You manage existing customers (B2B) and maintain regular contacts with them.
  • You inform the customers about the status of their projects (follow-up).
  • You start looking for new sales opportunities.
  • You develop new prospects and manage customer relationships as a key account, you act as a central point of contact and translate customer questions to the internal organisation and production
  • You take the measurements of the gates yourself at the customer's premises
  • You support customers with technical information and provide tailored advice.
  • You maintain your professional knowledge and technical skills in order to provide optimal service to customers.
  • You will help build the digital sales strategy and marketing through various channels, social media, online configurator and webshop.

Our client focuses on the production of custom-made gates, automation and fencing. They have a leading role as a partner to many wholesalers, placers and private individuals. They mainly operate in the B2B market. As part of growth, they are looking for a sales representative.

Profile

The sales representative we are looking for has the following qualities:

  • You have experience in selling a technical product preferably in the construction industry.
  • You have a bachelor's degree with a technical background (metal, construction,...) from your education or experience.
  • You have strong commercial skills.
  • You are customer-oriented and have an eye for detail.
  • You are driven and disciplined in organising your time to get the most out of it.
  • You work accurately and are immune to stress.
  • You communicate fluently, both verbally and in writing, in Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Affinity with digital marketing is a plus.
